The Objective
Akbar Alam Luxury Tours delivers ultra-premium, high-end travel experiences, VIP transport logistics, and bespoke hospitality services across the region.
Operating out of our central office in the historic Souq Waqif Area, we are appointing a Risk Management Director to protect our enterprise assets, operational workflows, and brand integrity.
In this executive role, you will design and enforce our corporate risk framework—covering everything from client safety protocols and international supply chain dependencies to financial volatility and regional regulatory compliance.
Key Executive Mandates
- Design, deploy, and govern the enterprise-wide risk management matrix and crisis-response protocols across all luxury travel sectors.
- Conduct continuous threat assessments regarding high-profile asset movements, vendor reliability, and VIP transport safety.
- Manage corporate insurance portfolios, negotiating high-value coverage terms and overseeing complex claim processes.
- Audit operational activities to guarantee absolute compliance with Qatar National Tourism Council standards, aviation rules, and maritime laws.
- Provide real-time risk intelligence, contingency plans, and strategic vulnerability assessments directly to the board of directors.
Your Professional Credentials
- 10 to 14 years of dedicated risk management, crisis control, or corporate governance experience, with a solid background handling high-end hospitality, aviation, or large-scale luxury logistics operations.
- Advanced expertise in risk modeling frameworks (ISO 31000 or COSO ERM) and implementing business continuity plans (BCP).
- Exceptional command of corporate asset protection, commercial legal liabilities, and GCC regulatory environments.
- A university degree in Risk Management, International Business, Law, or Finance—holding a professional designation like a CRM or PRM is a distinct advantage.
