RF Test Engineer

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical or computer engineering from an accredited school
• 2+ years of relevant work, including real industry time building, analyzing and deploying RF test systems
• Bench time with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators and vector network analyzers
• Deep, practical command of RF measurements such as linearity, NSD and EVM
• Preferred experience
• Experience with Python for controlling test equipment
• A working grasp of RF and mixed-signal parts like amplifiers, filters, data converters and antennas
• Familiarity with environmental testing such as vibration, thermal cycling and thermal vacuum.
• Testing standards such as SMC-S-016 and MIL-STD-461G
• Compensation
• The estimated base salary range for this role is $100,000-$130,000 per year, plus equity. This range reflects our good-faith estimate for this position at the time of posting. The final base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base salary, total compensation includes an equity grant and our full benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision), HSA's and 401K program.

Responsibilities

• Work with hardware design engineers to turn product requirements into test plans
• Run tests, record the data, and share findings with the people who need them
• Use lab equipment to help with new hardware bring-up and perform root cause analyses on failing hardware
• Write code in Python to contribute to our existing automated test framework
• Manage test equipment, ensuring all instruments are calibrated and maintained properly
