Requirements

  • The 2 Most Critical Attributes We’ll Use to Compare Candidates
  • Extensive RF front and backend PCB and System design experience (VHF to X-band frequencies).
  • Proven hands-on experience in designing complex RF systems from concept to delivery, including proficiency with FEA tools, particularly Ansys HFSS, CST and ADS.
  • Inquisitive, co-operative, empathetic and has a strong desire to work within a highly technical environment.
  • Must-have Skills
  • Around 5-10 years of practical experience in RF PCB design (VHF to X-band).
  • Strong understanding of RF hardware design principles.
  • Expertise in developing and executing test plans for complex RF systems.
  • Knowledge of low-noise design techniques and testing low-noise RF systems.
  • Proficiency with FEA and simulation tools, especially Ansys HFSS, CST and ADS.
  • Experience working with suppliers and contractors.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a team player.
  • A minimum of a 2.1 BEng/BSc Degree in System or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Nice-to-have Skills
  • Familiarity with the RF vendor supply chain.
  • Pragmatic approach to decision-making and design choices.
  • Experience in team and/or project management.
