Role overview
The Revenue Manager drives topline revenue through data-driven analysis, forecasting, pricing strategies, and demand optimization.
The role oversees revenue analytics across segments and channels and manages the Reservations function to support conversion, inventory accuracy, and revenue strategy.
Responsibilities
- Communicate booking-quality processes and correct PMS data entry to Reservations and Front Office teams.
- Support the Director of Revenue in driving market share and revenue performance through pricing and mix management.
- Develop pricing strategies across market segments and distribution channels, reflecting the hotel’s competitive position.
- Ensure adherence to pricing policies and Best Rate Guarantee compliance.
- Manage inventory and pricing across transient, group, and wholesale allotments and channels, including branded web, third-party sites, TARS, and GDS.
- Oversee daily Reservations operations; lead, train, and develop the team to improve conversion and service quality.
- Set and monitor Reservations KPIs, including conversion rate, call handling time, and abandonment rate.
- Align Reservations processes with revenue strategies and policies; monitor booking patterns and windows to adjust selling strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience in Revenue Management or Revenue Analysis.
- Previous experience managing or overseeing Reservations is highly preferred.
- Excellent understanding of hotel distribution and pricing strategies; leadership, team management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
