Revenue Cycle Data Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Review billing data for reimbursement accuracy, underpayments, and differences between expected and actual reimbursement.
• Assist with repricing and negotiations with insurers and third-party pricing agencies; prepare rate analyses and data summaries.
• Produce financial and performance reports on collections, patient account statuses, and payer trends.
• Support accurate coding documentation and compliance with reimbursement-related standards.
• Work with billing and collections teams to resolve claim issues and improve revenue cycle processes.
• Provide analysis for billing strategy and process improvements; support system implementation and develop coding and billing training resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a related associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Behavioral health billing experience is strongly preferred.
• Excel proficiency and familiarity with healthcare billing platforms are required.
• Familiarity with ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, DRG, and DSM coding systems is requested.
• Tableau, Power BI, or SQL is a plus; CPC or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.

Compensation and benefits

• Full-time position paying $50,000–$65,000 per year.
• Benefits include 401(k), dental, health, and vision insurance, and paid time off.

Workplace

• Work location is in person in Delray Beach, Florida.
