SELECTED Recruitment is partnering with a leading international law firm to appoint a
Revenue Controller
to join their Finance team in Abu Dhabi.
This is not a transactional billing role.
This is a commercially focused position sitting at the centre of Partner relationships, revenue performance, and cash flow optimisation across a high performing practice.
The Opportunity
The Finance function plays a critical role in protecting and accelerating the firm’s financial performance.
The Revenue Controller will manage the full revenue cycle from WIP management through to billing and collections, ensuring work converts into cash efficiently and strategically.
You will act as a trusted advisor to Partners and Fee Earners, influencing billing behaviour, improving working capital performance, and driving accountability across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end to end revenue cycle including WIP review, billing and collections
- Partner directly with senior stakeholders to drive billing discipline and cash flow performance
- Provide insight on client payment behaviour and working capital exposure
- Monitor WIP and debtor balances, proactively mitigating risk
- Act as escalation point for complex billing and collection matters
- Analyse revenue data and provide reporting to support strategic decision making
- Support process improvement initiatives across revenue operations
Profile
- Proven experience as a Revenue Controller within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of WIP management, billing cycles and credit control
- Commercially minded with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Analytical, detail driven and solutions focused
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced, high performance environment
