Role overview
Oversee daily retail store operations and subordinate employees while ensuring a positive customer shopping experience.
Manage showroom operations to increase sales, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
Core responsibilities
- Direct and monitor branch sales and operations, maintaining inventory, store appearance, and efficient sales-floor operations.
- Achieve financial, sales, and budget targets by controlling expenses, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Establish objectives and plans for continual branch performance improvement.
- Control stock movement, spoilage, damaged and returned items, and dead stock; monitor inventory turnover and stock variation.
- Schedule and ensure periodic branch preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with HR, IT, Trading, Administration, and other departments to secure needed resources.
- Handle customer complaints and related remedial and corrective actions.
- Evaluate staff performance and support employee learning and growth.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration is preferred.
- Three to five years of retail management or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of manpower planning, merchandising, and display is preferred.
- Leadership, teamwork, communication, analytical, and technical writing skills are preferred.
