Retail Store Associate

The Store Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, handling transactions, and supporting the Store Manager in daily operations.

The role ensures smooth store operations while meeting company standards and customer expectations.

· Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.

· Provide product information and recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.

· Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.

Sales and Transactions

· Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.

· Upsell and cross-sell products to meet sales targets.

· Manage store promotions and loyalty programs effectively.

· Replenish stock and maintain product displays as per company guidelines.

· Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.

· Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

· Keep the store clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

· Monitor the functionality of store equipment and report issues promptly.

· Support team members in daily tasks and peak periods.

· Assist in training new associates as required.

· Adapt to different roles based on store needs.

· Assist in training new employees.

· Support the store manager with additional duties as required

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Basic math and cash-handling abilities.

· Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
