Role Overview

Command Presence

• Maintain a professional appearance and wear designated dress standards, radio, and earpiece.
• Stand at the front of the store and remain vigilant and aware of surroundings.
• Greet every customer entering or exiting with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Create a secure environment and reduce opportunities for theft.

Knowledge and Communication

• Maintain knowledge of top shortage areas and theft-reduction support programs.
• Communicate theft-prevention information during store rallies with the Manager on Duty.
• Conduct bag and package checks for store and corporate associates.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious individuals to the Manager on Duty.

Support and Guidance

• Support training of associates on shortage-reduction programs and processes.
• Role-model safety as a priority and promptly address unsafe practices.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service, hospitality, retail, asset protection, loss prevention, or operations experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and visually monitor the store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
• Ability to analyze and comprehend business trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with detailed focus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Base Pay

• Base pay is $16.90 per hour.
