Scope

In-Store Sales, Product Consultation, Customer Experience, CRM Management, Quotation Handling

Job Purpose

The Retail Sales Specialist is responsible for delivering a seamless in-showroom experience for walk-in customers by offering detailed product information, preparing quotations, and coordinating with design and operations teams.

This role ensures process and product accuracy while contributing to inter-branch collaboration by sharing best practices and operational learnings.

Product Presentation & Client Support

  • Welcome showroom visitors, understand their requirements, and guide them through product features and specifications.
  • Provide technical information on design options, finishes, pricing models, and functionality.
  • Assist customers in understanding modular options and customizations based on catalogue or template solutions.

Quotation & Documentation Management

  • Prepare and validate accurate quotations, BOQs, and order forms using approved formats.
  • Liaise with designers and estimation teams to support proposal preparation and revisions.
  • Maintain documentation and update CRM system with real-time customer interactions.

Showroom Operations & Visual Merchandising

  • Ensure sample displays, product materials, and presentation tools are up to date and in excellent condition.
  • Report on showroom footfall trends, client inquiries, and product feedback to the Branch Manager.
  • Support coordination of in-store events or product showcases.

Cross-Branch Knowledge Sharing

  • Participate in weekly or monthly branch review meetings and share feedback, learnings, or innovative sales practices.
  • Document and distribute effective in-store strategies that improve sales or customer experience.
  • Contribute to creating and updating a cross-branch knowledge bank or sales playbook.

Internal Coordination

  • Follow up with Procurement, Planning, and Delivery teams for updates on product timelines.
  • Support client communication for operational updates when the primary consultant is unavailable.
  • Ensure team alignment on pricing, lead times, and showroom commitments.

Technical Competencies

  • In-depth product knowledge of modular and bespoke interior systems
  • Strong ability to use CRM and sales quotation tools
  • Understanding of showroom operations and lead handling
  • Familiarity with design terminology and project flow

Behavioural Competencies

  • Customer-centric attitude and patience in product walkthroughs
  • Methodical and disciplined with data and documentation
  • Willingness to collaborate and share team learnings
  • Efficient under pressure and task-oriented mindset

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architect, Business, Interior Design, or related field
  • 4–10 years of experience in in-store or B2C sales for premium/luxury products
  • Experience in home furnishing, modular kitchens, wardrobes, or doors preferred
  • Fluent in English & Arabic (Mandate)
