As a strategic partner to our thriving retail division, the Retail HRBP will be instrumental in aligning human resources initiatives with business objectives, providing expert guidance, and fostering a high-performance culture across our retail operations.
Responsibilities
- As the Retail HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to the retail business unit.
- Your key duties will include:
- Acting as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the retail division.
- Proactively supporting the delivery of HR processes and initiatives across the retail sector.
- Managing complex employee relations issues, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management.
- Collaborating with business leaders to develop and implement effective talent management strategies, including performance management, succession planning, and career development.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on UAE labour law and company HR policies.
- Driving recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain high-calibre talent for our retail stores and support functions.
- Analysing HR metrics and trends to provide insights and data-driven recommendations to the retail leadership team.
- Championing organisational change initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and employee engagement.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR, specifically within a fast-paced retail environment.
- Key qualifications include:
- Proven work experience as an HR Business Partner or similar senior HR role, with significant experience in the
- retail
- industry.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE labour law and HR best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and proficiency in HRIS systems.
- A CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multi-national organisation.
