- **12 month Fixed Term Contract - Subject to renewal on a yearly basis**
- **Salary range per month (subject to experience) between £5000 - £9000 UK Pounds equivalent in Saudi Riyals**

- leading Retail Design and Architecture agency
- who have successfully tendered and been assigned the lead agency on
- 2 high profile mega projects as part of the 2030 vision in Saudi Arabia – specifically Riyadh
- . The design agency (headquartered in Dubai with offices in Riyadh) have a strong brand reputation having worked on Landmark projects including The Dubai Mall, Newly built cities, Sporting Hubs and Lifestyle mix use locations across Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Qatar amongst other locations across the Middle East and Gulf Countries.
- The Retail Design and Architecture agency are
- now seeking a number of experienced Retail Design Managers to support 2 large and prolific retail / mall destinations
- as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 programme in Riyadh.
- ****Previous experience of retail design review and approval from the perspective of Mall’s or Retail Property Developer business is essential.
- Open to candidates from the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, GCC countries and Egypt amongst others. ****
- These roles are responsible for ensuring the presentation and functional quality of all stores across the high profile projects, meet the highest standards and aligns with defined design and precinct criteria.
- You will play a key role in delivering commercially driven retail design solutions, overseeing on-site store delivery and minimising downtime to support timely openings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the retail design delivery process across multiple assets
- Review and provide feedback on tenant design submissions within agreed timeframes
- Ensure compliance with design criteria lease terms and company standards
- Coordinate with leasing project management and operations teams to define scope of works
- Track tenancy progress to ensure timely handover to tenants
- Liaise with tenants, contractors and consultants to resolve design and construction issues
- Support permitting and approvals with local authorities
- Oversee health and safety compliance across tenancy works
- Assist with tenant billing related to design and fit-out works
- Report on project status and progress in internal meetings
Key Requirements
- Experience in retail design within Malls
- Strong design review and project management skills
- Proven ability to manage retail property complexities
- Degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills
- Business level English both written and spoken with the Arabic language as a bonus but not essential
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office PowerPoint CAD and project management software
- Strong understanding of retail design and market trends
- Knowledge of engineering principles building codes and regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with modern construction methods materials and installation techniques
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
- Understanding of inspection processes and compliance standards
- Comfortable conducting online meetings
What We Offer
- Attractive salary on offer (subject to experience) in the range of £5000 to £9000 per month tax free (UK Equivalent) + Bonus
