Role overview

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of outlet concepts, menus, beverages, promotions, and service standards; communicate them to guests and train colleagues.
• Lead shifts from briefing through closing, allocate duties, set priorities, monitor service pace, and support the team on the floor.
• Coordinate with other hotel outlets to support efficient operations.
• Inspect guest-facing and back-of-house areas for cleanliness, organization, equipment readiness, and issues requiring correction.
• Coach and hold colleagues accountable for duties, service standards, punctuality, grooming, and conduct; escalate recurring issues.
• Lead and document team training, including briefings, product knowledge, service standards, role plays, and on-the-job coaching.
• Verify side duties, opening and closing tasks, and shift handovers, following up on unfinished work.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience working in a five-star luxury hotel environment is required.
• Proficiency with restaurant POS and cashiering procedures is required.
• Ability to understand guest needs and deliver superior guest service is expected.
• A degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management is preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant with high service standards is preferred.
• Verbal and written communication skills in Arabic or other languages are preferred.
