Role overview

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage reservations, walk-in guests, waiting lists, and table allocations.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus when required.
• Coordinate with restaurant managers, servers, and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Handle guest inquiries, reservation requests, and basic complaints professionally.
• Keep the reception area organized and the entrance clean and presentable.
• Monitor table availability and waiting times during busy periods.
• Assist with special requests and provide information about the menu and dining experience.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and follow service standards.
• Support the restaurant team in delivering a high-quality guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous Hostess, Receptionist, or customer-facing hospitality experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• A pleasant personality, professional appearance, and positive attitude are expected.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm during busy periods are required.
• Good organization and attention to detail are required.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and public holidays is required.
• Fluency in English is required; Chinese or additional languages are an advantage.
• Fine dining, Asian cuisine, or Chinese hotpot experience is an advantage.
• The preferred candidate is confident, welcoming, well-presented, and works well with a team.

Compensation

• The posting lists pay of AED 1–12 per month.

Schedule

• Flexible shifts may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Workplace

• Work is in person at the restaurant in Downtown Dubai.
