Restaurant Food Cost Controller

Overview

• We are looking for a detail-oriented Food Cost Controller to manage and optimize food and beverage costs across multiple restaurant concepts.
• The role focuses on maintaining profitability through strict cost control, inventory accuracy, and efficient purchasing practices.
• Monitor and control daily food and beverage costs across all outlets
• Prepare and analyze
• food cost reports
• , variance reports, and monthly P&L inputs
• Ensure accurate recipe costing, menu pricing, and portion control
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies
• Work closely with chefs and kitchen teams to minimize waste and improve yield
• Audit purchasing processes, supplier pricing, and invoice accuracy
• Implement and maintain cost control systems and SOPs
• Track wastage, spoilage, and pilferage, and recommend corrective actions
• Support menu engineering and profitability analysis
• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements
