Restaurant Cleaner

Role overview

Dining area and restrooms

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors before opening and after closing.
• Sanitize tables, chairs, booths, and high-touch points, including door handles and POS stations.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures multiple times per shift; restock soap, hand towels, and toilet paper.
• Clean glass doors, windows, light fixtures, and decorative surfaces.

Kitchen and prep areas

• Degrease and sanitize kitchen line surfaces, prep stations, exhaust hoods, fryers, stoves, and grills on the cleaning schedule.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors with grease-removing agents; clear floor drains and remove debris.
• When applicable, wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Empty garbage, recycling, and food-waste bins; clean and line trash receptacles.

Requirements

• Restaurant, hotel, or food-service cleaning or dishwashing experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards for food-preparation and dining areas.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 lb (18 kg).
• Comfort working in hot, humid, or fast-paced environments.
• Attention to detail, hygiene standards, punctuality, and dependability.
• Flexible availability, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Safety and compliance

• Handle, mix, and store food-grade sanitizers and commercial cleaning chemicals following COSHH / OSHA procedures.
• Maintain health-code standards and comply with local food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or pest concerns promptly to the manager on duty.

Compensation

• Pay starts at AED 2,000 per month.
