  • This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Description & Requirements

  • Monday/Wednesdays/Friday: 3PM-7PM (Every week)
  • This position can provide 12-25hrs/week
  • Potential to build hours with overnights
  • Hourly Pay: $14.13 per hour OR $207.45/Overnight
  • Machines of all kinds (tractors, riding devices, wheels)
  • Tinkering and cause-and-effect activities (Busy boards, buttons, ect.)
  • Music, especially playing on a piano/keyboard
  • Sensory play like swinging, trampoline time, swimming, and outdoor activities
  • Occasional outings such as the children’s museum or outdoor adventures
  • Ensuring safety through active supervision
  • Prepare and assist with feeding
  • Engage the child in sensory, art, physical, and creative activities
  • Support communication using his AAC device and non-verbal cues
  • Accompany the child on occasional outings and assist with activities/safety supervision as needed
  • A provider who prioritizes safety, companionship, and fun
  • Someone compassionate, patient, and understanding
  • Creative and hands-on, with interest in sensory play and cause-and-effect learning
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and consistent
  • Experience with non-verbal children or developmental differences is a plus, but not required
  • Must pass a caregiver/criminal background check.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • *If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
