Role Description

• Oversee the overall performance of consultancy supervision services across assigned projects.
• Ensure project completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Provide leadership in project planning, scheduling, and execution using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
• Conduct regular progress meetings with engineers, contractors, and clients, ensuring alignment on project goals.
• Maintain effective document control and general administrative processes.
• Manage risk and issue logs, and drive resolution processes.
• Act as the primary interface with external stakeholders, including end-users, asset owners, contractors, consultants, utility providers, and government authorities.
• Assist in the evaluation of contractor change requests, claims, and contractual issues.
• Lead critical discussions and negotiations to resolve project challenges effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least 15 years of experience in project supervision and execution, with a minimum of 10 years in a Resident Engineer or Project Manager role, overseeing at least 2 construction projects in the UAE.
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera).
• PMP and PQP certifications are advantageous.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of Abu Dhabi regulations, authorities’ requirements, and local construction standards is mandatory.
• Experience with projects related to steel and industrial projects are highly preferred.
• Candidate currently in UAE is mandatory.
