  • Monitors programme, cost, and delivery risks; maintains a proactive risk register and implements early mitigation and dispute-avoidance measures.
  • Reviews contractor programmes and progress, including critical paths, delay analysis, recovery measures, and contractual milestones.
  • Coordinates supervision and contract administration, converting site delays, NCRs, and changes into formal contractual actions.
  • Leads contractual correspondence and maintains clear, traceable records through relevant EDMS platforms.

Close-out

  • Administers Taking-Over and Performance Certificates and oversees snagging, testing, commissioning, and defects liability processes.
  • Ensures contract close-out and resolution of outstanding matters.

Experience and qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • 15+ years in FIDIC-based contract administration and construction supervision; experience as a Resident Engineer and/or Senior Contracts or Claims Manager on complex projects.
  • Experience on large-scale hospitality, mixed-use, high-rise, or infrastructure developments; landscape project experience is essential.
  • Expert knowledge of FIDIC Conditions of Contract, with Red Book knowledge essential.
  • Strong claims analysis, EOT assessment, dispute avoidance, commercial awareness, and understanding of contractual cost implications.

Professional capabilities

  • Able to make independent, balanced, defensible determinations and communicate contract matters excellently in writing and verbally.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities; able to work under pressure on complex, fast-track projects.
  • Expected to act impartially, maintain procedural compliance and timelines, document decisions, and promote risk management and dispute avoidance.
