Job description
We are looking for a dedicated Reservations Officer to join our team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing reservations, engaging with customers to deliver exceptional service, and maximizing sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist and advise customers in selecting travel options that best suit their needs.
- Make reservations for customers based on their requirements and budgetary allowances.
- Check the availability of accommodation or transportation for customers' desired travel dates.
- Help plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
- Process payments and send confirmation details to customers.
- Resolve any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
- Sell and promote reservation services to customers.
- Answer any questions customers have about the reservation process.
- Up-sell additional services or special packages when appropriate.
- Provide support to customers needing to amend or cancel a reservation.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Negotiate deals and set up meetings with potential clients or partners.
Qualifications
- Position Requirement: **Fluent in Arabic (Native**) & English
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to submit their applications
- Reservations skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Sales skills to maximize revenue
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with reservation management systems is a plus
- Flexible working hours/shift
