About the role

Contribute to development, optimization, and industrialization of manufacturing processes.

Translate R&D concepts into robust commercial processes while supporting product quality, efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and regional supply teams across sites.

Manufacturing feasibility and trials

  • Assess manufacturing and packaging feasibility, production equipment capabilities, machinery requirements, and product-specific technical needs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead laboratory, pilot, and industrial-scale trials for process development, scale-up, and technology transfer.
  • Support raw material procurement and qualification through trials, evaluations, and validation.

Process improvement and transfer

  • Design and implement manufacturing processes to improve product quality, robustness, and scalability.
  • Reduce manufacturing costs, energy use, processing time, and operational losses without compromising quality.
  • Establish critical process parameters and quality requirements for consistent product performance.
  • Coordinate technology transfer across manufacturing locations and provide technical implementation guidance.
  • Support global manufacturing locations in collaboration with regional supply and operations teams.

Scale-up and documentation

  • Assess process risks and develop mitigation measures using risk assessment and problem-solving methods.
  • Transfer products from R&D through pilot scale to commercial manufacturing and support commercial validation.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, transfer documents, trial reports, and quality records.
  • Lead troubleshooting during scale-up and commercialization and support Technical Department priorities.

Experience and qualifications

  • B.Tech in chemical engineering.
  • 1–5 years of relevant industry experience is preferred.
  • Practical understanding and hands-on exposure to manufacturing technologies in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or dietary supplement industries.
  • Familiarity with US FDA requirements and global GMP practices is an added advantage.
  • Prior exposure to scale-up trials, process development and validation, and technology transfer is preferred.
  • Good project coordination and project management capabilities.
