Role overview

Responsibilities

• Plan publication campaigns and topics across relevant industries and identify emerging research topics.
• Write and publish quarterly review articles in peer-reviewed journals; ensure quality and compliance with journal requirements and ethics.
• Build university and research institution partnerships, coordinate with journal editors, and present FRL research at conferences.
• Track citations, downloads, and academic reach; prepare monthly outreach and publication metrics reports.
• Identify and apply for research grants and develop collaborative proposals with academic and industry partners.
• Mentor graduate students and postdoctoral fellows; develop FRL profiles on academic platforms.
• Contribute research data to public databases and identify patent opportunities with the IP team.

Qualifications and experience

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Nutraceuticals, Food Science, Cosmeceuticals, or a related field.
• 1 to 5+ years in academic writing, research publication, or related roles, with a proven record of peer-reviewed journal publications.
• Research methodology or publication ethics certification is preferred; experience in academic or industry partnerships is a plus.
• Expertise in research methodologies, glycemic index protocols, and nutraceuticals.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple academic and publication tasks.
• Understanding of journal guidelines, publication ethics, and compliance processes.
• Familiarity with PubMed, ResearchGate, or Google Scholar; ability to track citations, downloads, and article impact and establish research partnerships.

Schedule and travel

• Full-time, Monday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; hours may occasionally vary with workload.
• Limited travel of 10%–20% is required for conferences, academic events, and networking.

Work arrangement

• Work is primarily desk-based and involves computer work, research coordination, and communication.
• Work location is stated as in person. The role may involve communication by phone, in person, and email, and presentations to groups.

Compensation

• Pay starts at ₹30,000 per month.
