Supports financial research, market analysis, data interpretation, and report preparation for business and investment decisions.
Collects and evaluates financial information, monitors market developments, analyzes economic trends, and contributes research insights aligned with organizational objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Gather financial data from reliable sources and review company financial statements.
- Monitor industry developments, market trends, economic indicators, market movements, and financial news.
- Prepare research reports, summarize findings, maintain databases, and organize information for presentations and decision-making.
- Support financial modeling, compare company performance, evaluate investment information, and identify risks and opportunities.
- Update research documentation, support valuation analysis, prepare charts and summaries, and verify data accuracy.
- Present findings clearly and collaborate with finance, investment, and business teams to improve research quality and analytical efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Financial Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting fundamentals, economic concepts, and financial market terminology.
- Ability to collect, organize, interpret, and analyze financial and market data from multiple sources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, documentation, and report preparation.
- Familiarity with financial statements, company performance indicators, budgeting concepts, and basic financial modeling.
- Understanding of investment research, market trends, industry analysis, and economic developments.
- Ability to prepare structured research reports, analytical summaries, charts, and presentations.
- Familiarity with financial databases, research platforms, and data visualization tools is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
- Good written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple research tasks and deadlines.
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset and interest in financial markets, investment analysis, economic research, and continuous learning.
