Research Analyst

Role overview

What you’ll do

• Produce daily and weekly market commentary and macro outlooks for clients.
• Monitor economic data releases, central bank policy and geopolitical developments, and turn them into actionable currency views.
• Prepare personalised research and hedging recommendations in response to client requests.
• Deliver market updates through client analyst calls and alerts.
• Maintain and develop internal data trackers and market dashboards for the research desk.
• Work directly with clients to understand their exposure and tailor research to their needs.

What the employer is looking for

• Have a strong interest in and working knowledge of FX markets and macroeconomics.
• Communicate market movements clearly to non-specialist clients in writing and verbally.
• Be comfortable working with data; Excel proficiency is a plus.
• Be self-motivated and able to manage output independently in a remote-first setting.
• Prior markets experience is useful but not essential.
• FX or commodities analysis experience is not required; training is provided.

Workplace

• Remote-first working with monthly in-office collaboration days.
• The role requires office attendance three days per month in the UK.
