Research Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Travel to program sites and administer surveys to students, families, teachers, teaching artists, fellows, and partners.
• Coordinate collection timelines, drive completion rates, troubleshoot collection issues, and close data gaps.
• Manage the student database and its integration with the enrollment platform; maintain accurate survey and program data.
• Apply data architecture standards so new programs and grants join the existing system.
• Check incoming data, resolve inconsistencies with the Data Analyst, and train and support staff on collection protocols.

Requirements and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least one year of data entry, database management, or survey administration experience with high accuracy.
• Experience with databases or data platforms, online survey tools, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience in schools, youth programs, or community-based settings, and experience training or supporting others on data procedures.
• Commitment to ethics and confidentiality for student and family information.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, initiative, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.

Workplace

• Hybrid role in Jacksonville, Florida, with local travel to program sites.
