The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with documentation and inventory requirements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for offshore and marine projects
- Source materials, equipment, and services from approved suppliers
- Coordinate with vendors, freight forwarders, and logistics partners
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely arrival of materials
- Handle shipping documentation, customs paperwork, and logistics tracking
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations
- Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers
- Collaborate with project and operations teams to meet procurement deadlines
- Ensure all procurement and logistics processes are efficient, compliant, and cost-effective
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement and logistics operations
- Prior experience in offshore, marine, oil & gas, engineering, or contracting industries is highly advantageous
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- In-depth knowledge of shipping procedures and supply chain management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications is preferred
