Summary: This role is for an experienced Marine Mechanic / Outboard Mechanic to join a dynamic technical team responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of marine engines and vessel systems.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of marine equipment across various operational environments, including drydock, workshop, and onboard settings.

Responsibilities
- Perform repair, servicing, and maintenance of outboard and inboard marine engines
- Diagnose mechanical faults and conduct effective troubleshooting on marine equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections of vessels and mechanical systems
- Repair engine, fuel, cooling, steering, and hydraulic systems
- Support drydock activities, workshop operations, and onboard maintenance tasks
- Ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed safely, efficiently, and to standard
- Maintain accurate service reports and technical documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Marine Mechanic, Outboard Mechanic, or Marine Engine Technician
- Strong knowledge of marine engines and vessel mechanical systems
- Demonstrated ability to independently identify and resolve technical and mechanical issues
- Experience in marine workshops, shipyards, offshore vessels, or boat maintenance is preferred
- Technical qualification in Mechanical or Marine Engineering is an advantage
- Gulf or offshore experience is highly preferred
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, or similar outboard engines
- Familiarity with marine maintenance procedures and safety standards
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced marine environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
