Qualifications

• Experience building basic Power BI (or similar application) reports and dashboards using existing datasets
• Creating visuals
• Applying filters and slicers
• Basic report formatting and layout
• Simple measures (SUM, COUNT, AVERAGE)
• Basic calculated columns
• Basic data cleansing
• Simple transformations (filtering rows, renaming fields, changing data types)
• Basic understanding of relational data concepts, including tables, joins, and primary keys
• Experience writing basic SQL queries (SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY) against SQL Server or Oracle
• Ability to validate report results against source data with guidance
• Experience creating charts and summaries using Excel and PowerPoint or similar applications
• Ability to follow established documentation, standards, and development processes
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and concepts
• Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Master's Degree may be used to offset one (1) year of experience; PhD may offset two (2) years of experience.
• This is a data and analytics development role within the Gulfstream Business Technology organization for the Enterprise Reporting team. This role directly supports the suite of Gulfstream Enterprise Reporting applications. Responsible for developing requirements, solution development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise reporting solutions.

• Assists with defining test conditions and comprehensive test plans.
• Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, etc.
• Under general supervision prepares requirements, specifications, and business process maps.
• Documents, develops, tests, deploys, and supports reporting and data analytics development using a variety of technical tools in support of business requirements.
• Participates in design reviews for implementation projects..
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrated capability to understand data structures and create effective visualizations and reports that drive business insight and value.
• A credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for all candidates for this position including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer.This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Preferred Qualifications

• Introductory exposure to Microsoft Fabric concepts (e.g., awareness of Lakehouse or semantic models)
• Microsoft Power BI certification (PL‐300 or similar), or progress toward certification
• Familiarity with publishing reports to the Power BI Service
• Experience applying basic row‐level security (RLS) with guidance
• Exposure to working in an Agile or team-based development environment
• Experience enhancing or maintaining existing reports rather than designing new models
