Rental Sales Supervisor

Job Purpose

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Sales and Revenue Management: drive daily rental sales, achieve monthly targets, develop new business, and maximize revenue through pricing, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Team Supervision: supervise rental sales agents, assign tasks, monitor performance, coach, and ensure sales targets are met.
• Customer Relationship Management: build relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, hotels, and individual customers.
• Rental Operations: oversee reservations, rental agreements, vehicle allocation, extensions, returns, and contract renewals.
• Fleet Coordination: coordinate with fleet and operations teams for vehicle availability and preparation.
• Customer Service and Complaints: handle escalated complaints and resolve service issues.
• Pricing and Contract Management: ensure rates, discounts, deposits, and terms comply with approved policies.
• Sales Reporting and Analysis: prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
• Market Development: monitor competitors and market trends to identify new sales opportunities.
• Documentation and Compliance: ensure rental agreements, documents, payments, and invoices are accurate and compliant.
• Coordination and Communication: work with fleet, maintenance, finance, and customer service teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in vehicle rental, automotive sales, or a related commercial environment, including supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of rental agreements, fleet availability, pricing, and customer service practices.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and lead a sales team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and rental management systems.
