Role Overview
The Rental Kiosk Executive is responsible for managing the full cycle of car rental operations at the Thrifty kiosk.
This is an all-encompassing role that covers customer service, rental transactions, fleet coordination, payment processing, and day-to-day operational management — ensuring a seamless and professional rental experience from start to finish.
Customer Service & Rental Transactions
- Handle customer reservations, rental agreements, vehicle handovers, and returns.
- Explain rental terms, insurance options, rates, and additional services clearly and professionally.
- Address customer queries, complaints, calls, and email communications with a high standard of service.
- Maintain company grooming standards and uphold a professional kiosk presentation at all times.
Fleet Coordination & Operations
- Monitor and coordinate vehicle availability with fleet teams to ensure timely delivery to clients.
- Liaise with operations to manage vehicle dispatching, returns, and readiness.
- Track overdue rentals and follow up with customers on pending returns or payments.
Sales & Revenue
- Promote vehicle upgrades, insurance packages, and additional rental products to maximize revenue.
- Identify upselling opportunities and convert walk-in inquiries into confirmed bookings.
Administration & Reporting
- Process all rental documentation and payment transactions accurately.
- Prepare daily operational and sales reports as required by management.
- Maintain petty cash records and ensure fuel slips are submitted on a periodic basis.
- Willing to work flexible hours including non-weekend days off as per operational requirements.
