Role overview

Kentro is hiring a Program Analytics and Reporting Analyst to support the VA ESOM contract.

The role provides program-level analytics, reporting, data stewardship, and quality oversight across the Problem Management program and its Problem Resolution Teams.

The analyst connects information across investigations and teams to identify trends, relationships, gaps, and emerging risks.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Problem, RCA, incident, KEDB, and performance data for trends, recurring issues, relationships, gaps, and risks.
  • Conduct cross-PRT analysis to identify shared risks, recurring failure patterns, and connections not visible in individual investigations.
  • Track, analyze, and report client-established KPIs and performance measures, and recommend reporting or measurement improvements.
  • Develop and maintain program reports, dashboards, trend summaries, and briefing materials for operational and leadership audiences.
  • Support program data and knowledge repositories, including KEDB quality, cross-referencing, taxonomy, and data consistency.
  • Review completed RCAs and Problem records against standards and route identified gaps to appropriate teams.
  • Support improvements to data quality, analytical practices, reporting, and program visibility.

Required qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, another engineering discipline, or a technical discipline; eight years of additional relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • Five years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Communication, collaboration, organization, and coordination across multiple organizational levels.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with databases, structured data repositories, knowledge-management systems, KEDB, or similar information environments is preferred.
  • Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting performance metrics and translating findings into operational and leadership-level reporting is preferred.
  • Strong data quality, completeness, consistency, and record-integrity practices are preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and ability to synthesize and present analytical findings are preferred.
  • Familiarity with ITSM, Problem Management, Incident Management, RCA, or similar operational environments is preferred.
  • ServiceNow, Power BI, Excel, SQL, Python, or similar analytical and reporting tools are beneficial.

Workplace and schedule

  • The role is remote within the United States and supports Eastern Time working hours.

Compensation

  • The anticipated base salary range is $80,000–$120,000 annually.
  • Final compensation depends on role requirements, qualifications, education, certifications, work location, security clearance requirements, market conditions, internal equity, and contract requirements.
