Provides technical support and maintenance for computer systems, software applications, and network-related technologies from a remote work environment.
Diagnoses technical issues, resolves user requests, and supports reliable IT operations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide remote support for hardware, software, operating systems, and business applications.
- Troubleshoot issues using remote access tools and support platforms; install, configure, and maintain software and updates.
- Respond to service requests, prioritize incidents, and manage tickets through completion.
- Assist with account access, system configuration, and general technology inquiries.
- Monitor system performance and identify recurring issues for investigation.
- Escalate complex incidents and communicate clearly with users.
- Document support work, resolutions, and technical procedures.
- Follow security policies for access, updates, and data protection.
- Recommend improvements to support processes and technical documentation.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; equivalent technical experience may be considered.
- Experience in IT support, technical support, service desk, or help desk roles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networking fundamentals, and software applications.
- Familiarity with remote support tools, ticketing systems, and IT service management practices.
- Analytical troubleshooting, communication, prioritization, organization, and documentation skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating with technical teams; committed to continuous learning.
