Role overview
Provides remote support and maintenance for computer systems, software applications, and network-related technologies.
Diagnoses technical issues, resolves user requests, and supports reliable IT operations.
Key responsibilities
- Support hardware, software, operating systems, and business applications remotely.
- Troubleshoot issues, manage service requests and tickets, and assist with account access and system configuration.
- Install and maintain software and updates; monitor system performance and investigate recurring issues.
- Escalate complex incidents, keep users informed, and document support activity and technical procedures.
- Follow security and data-protection practices and recommend support-process improvements.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; equivalent technical experience may be considered.
- IT support, technical support, service desk, or help desk experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, operating systems, networking fundamentals, and software applications.
- Familiarity with remote support tools, ticketing systems, and IT service management practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, prioritization, organization, and documentation skills.
- Able to work independently, collaborate with technical teams, and continue learning.
