About This Role
Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist.
The specialist will be responsible for implementing and monitoring occupational and environmental health and safety programs to ensure workplace safety compliance.
They will conduct safety training, assess potential hazards, develop preventative measures, and ensure adherence to company-wide and regulatory safety standards.
The role includes investigating incidents, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with teams to establish a culture of safety awareness.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and fostering occupational health standards
- Experience in Workplace Safety and Safety Training for employees
- Strong analytical skills to identify and mitigate workplace hazards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training delivery
- Ability to work independently and support remote safety programs
- Knowledge of local and federal safety regulations is essential
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field is preferred
