Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Relationship Manager / Senior Relationship Manager – Fundraising (Hindi Speaker) will be responsible for originating, developing, and converting fundraising opportunities for LEAM's hedge fund strategies.
The primary objective of this role is to raise assets under management (AUM) by acquiring new investors and expanding relationships with existing investors.
The successful candidate will focus on ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), family offices, private banks, wealth managers, and professional investors across the GCC and relevant international markets, with a particular emphasis on Hindi-speaking investor segments.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Raising capital for LEAM's hedge fund strategies and achieving fundraising targets.
- Identifying, sourcing, and engaging prospective investors through personal networks, referrals, and business development initiatives.
- Building and maintaining relationships with UHNWIs, family offices, private banks, wealth managers, and professional investors.
- Managing the full investor lifecycle from initial engagement through commitment, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.
- Delivering investment presentations, fund updates, and due diligence meetings.
- Coordinating with investment, operations, compliance, and legal teams throughout the fundraising process.
- Maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities and accurate CRM records.
- Representing LEAM at investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, and industry events.
- Providing market intelligence and investor feedback to senior management regarding product positioning and fundraising opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, private banking, wealth management, asset management distribution, or alternative investments.
- Proven and demonstrable track record of raising capital and acquiring investors, supported by an established network of relevant investors and intermediary relationships. Applicants without direct capital raising experience will not be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to originate, develop, and close relationships with UHNWIs, family offices, private banks, wealth managers, and professional investors.
- Fluency in Hindi and English, with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of investment products, hedge funds, alternative investments, and capital markets.
- Ability to explain complex investment strategies clearly and effectively to sophisticated investors.
- Strong commercial mindset with a results-oriented approach to business development.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
- Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- CFA, CAIA, MBA, or other relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.
