Chedid Re, a company of Chedid Capital, is looking for a Reinsurance Broker within its property department, based in UAE.
The role focuses on performing everyday fundamental general brokerage activities, as well as promoting Chedid Re services.

Responsibilities
- Implement related policies and procedures.
- Implement activities in specific areas under close supervision.
- Update on a continuous basis the General Brokerage database for maintenance and monitoring purposes.
- Organize, file and archive records for maintenance and retrieval purposes.
- Assist in communicating with targeted reinsurers for obtaining binding agreements.
- Assist in binding reinsurers upon firm order ensuring maximum share and obtain signed slips.
- Negotiate with reinsurers in order to obtain maximum commission fees, competitive terms and conditions across all businesses.
- Assist in preparing renewal notices/information requests to be delivered to markets in a timely manner.
- Promote Chedid Re services for business development purposes
- Coordinate with insurers to gather information for small contracts and analyze needs.
- Screen received submissions from cedants and request missing information and documents.
- Assist in preparing proposal components to cedants (pricing, terms and conditions, etc.) for small accounts.
- Assist in preparing underwriting information needed for reinsurers for decision-making purposes.
- Keep abreast the latest market trends in insurance and reinsurance for recommendation and implementation purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any related field.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is a must.
- 2 to 4 years of reinsurance broking experience, specifically in the UAE market.
