Responsibility
- Acquire & maintain Knowledge of product platforms, regulations & norms, Product Development & Regulation review processes applicable for his/her responsible products
- To read & understand the Technical Regulations & Norms and extract the applicable requirements
- Able to convert applicable requirements into Valeo standards & update the DR checklists periodically
- Understand the Product Development process and Regulation Review methods & tools used
- Providing regularly a report of trend and roadmaps of dedicated regulations to the products of the PG, within the countries for which he/she is in charge
- Ensure Regulatory compliance for all the responsible products through regulation reviews and deployment of control methods within the R&D Disciplines and Manufacturing Sites to ensure the development & production of compliant products to regulations and norms in force
- To ensure regulatory compliance in projects by conducting regulation reviews using the applicable & authorised methods and tools and report the KPIs to the management regularly
- Providing trainings to R&D Disciplines and Manufacturing Sites teams and development teams
- To ensure effective & timely communication to all the internal / external stakeholders and avoid non-compliance issues and prevent escalations
- Represent Valeo in national, regional and international standards, type-approval and regulation organizations, as defined by the BG/PG strategy, under the authority of the Group Direction
- respecting the strategy and rules defined at BG/PG
- NB.: Each participation to national or international groups (ISO, ETSI, VDA, CLEPA, CATARC, EuroNCAP, …) is done ensuring Compliance and Ethics policy of the Group and after validation of Group External Affairs Direction.
Education
- ME / M.Tech / BE / B.Tech – EEE / Power Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Automobile from a reputed Institute
Professional Experience
- Minimum 2 to 4.5 years of experience in automotive product design / regulations / testing & validation / Homologation / Product Certification
- Preferable Experience in Electrical Vehicle Powertrain Systems & Electronics Systems
