Regular or Visiting Faculty (2026) | Industrial Engineering

The Department of Industrial Engineering (INE) in the College of Engineering at American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for visiting and regular faculty positions at the assistant, associate or full professor level commencing in the Fall 2026 Semester.

Successful candidates for the regular positions will be expected to establish high-level, active research programs supported by internal and external funding sources.

The visiting position is a one-year renewable contract, and the regular position is a three-year renewable contract.

The applicant is required to have a PhD in Industrial Engineering and show evidence of a significant teaching portfolio.

Excellence in teaching and research, in addition to experience in the American model of higher education, are highly desirable.
