Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Graduate of Registered Nurse Program
  • License:
  • REGISTERED NURSE
  • Certifications:
  • BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN )
  • ACLS (American Heart)(within 180 days for inexperienced RNs)
  • Basic EKG
  • NIH STROKE (within 60 days of hire/transfer effective date

Responsibilities

  • Assesses physical, psychosocial, educational and growth and development needs of the patient.
  • Develops a written plan of care using assessment data.
  • Implements nursing care plan.
  • Evaluates patient's response to interventions.
  • Demonstrates leadership skills
  • Assists in organizing Patient Care Activities
