About the Role

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and assessing and documenting changes in their condition. • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs and goals. • Coordinate care with other healthcare team members, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. • Ensure that all documentation and charting are accurate, complete, and current. • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed. • Educate patients and families about their healthcare needs and treatments. • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed. • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing nursing care in the facility.

Requirements

• Valid and current RN license in the state of California • Graduate of an accredited nursing program • Minimum of 1-year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, in-patient rehabilitation, or in-patient behavioral health setting • Strong clinical skills, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
