Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

1. Patient Care & Clinical Support

• Perform initial patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and presenting complaints.
• Monitor and record patient condition, progress, and response to treatment.
• Administer medications and injections as per physician’s orders and ensure safe dosage.
• Assist physicians during clinical procedures, minor surgeries, and examinations.
• Provide wound care, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures.
• Observe for adverse reactions to medications and treatments, and report to physicians promptly.

2. Documentation & Reporting

• Accurately document all nursing assessments, care provided, and changes in condition in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to documentation standards as per DHA guidelines.
• Prepare medical charts and reports required for physician review and insurance processing.

3. Infection Control & Safety

• Comply with infection prevention and control protocols at all times.
• Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of equipment, instruments, and patient care areas.
• Participate in maintaining the hygiene and safety standards of the clinical environment.
• Use appropriate PPE and monitor stock of nursing supplies and medications.

4. Patient Education & Communication

• Educate patients and family members about diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
• Provide emotional support and guidance, especially to anxious or distressed patients.
• Clearly explain procedures and ensure patient understanding before carrying them out.
• Facilitate smooth patient flow through effective triage and time management.

5. Administrative & Operational Support

• Coordinate patient appointments, lab tests, and follow-ups as needed.
• Monitor stock levels of nursing supplies and notify the concerned department for reorders.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and internal audits.
• Support training and mentoring of new nurses or interns as required.

Requirements

• **DHA/DOH/MOH Eligibility Letter or DHA License** – **Mandatory**
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing (with UAE equivalency for diploma holders)
• Minimum **3 years of clinical experience** (UAE experience is an advantage)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred)
• Familiarity with EMR systems and clinic operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Arabic Speaking Preferred.
• Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
