Qualifications
- Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Required Credential(s):
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- One or more of the following:
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Education
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
- Additional Preferences:
- 1 plus years OR RN experience with trauma RN experience is a plus.
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6:30pm - 7am no call and holidays assigned on rotation.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert perioperative nursing care for high-acuity patients, seamlessly transitioning between scrub and circulator roles to ensure surgical precision and patient safety.
- Coordinate intraoperative clinical management by monitoring hemodynamics, documenting critical interventions, and facilitating clear communication within the surgical team.
- Deliver advanced surgical assistance, actively supporting surgeons with hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and specialized patient positioning during complex procedures.
- Optimize suite readiness and sterile integrity through the meticulous preparation of specialized instrumentation and life-saving equipment for rapid-response trauma cases.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 plus years OR RN experience with trauma RN experience is a plus.
