About This Role

~ Job Summary:

A Home Care Nurse provides high-quality, compassionate, and skilled nursing care to patients within their homes. The role involves assessing patient health, administering treatments, managing medications, and assisting with daily living activities while promoting patient comfort, dignity, and independence. The nurse collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure personalized and effective care.

~ Key Responsibilities:

- Patient Assessment and Care Planning

. Conduct thorough health assessments, document medical history, and develop personalized care plans based on patient needs.

. Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary in coordination with healthcare providers.

- Medication and Treatment Administration

. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including injections, IV therapies, wound care, and pain management.

. Educate patients and families on medication management, potential side effects, and treatment protocols.

- Health Education and Support

. Educate patients and family members on disease management, health maintenance, and preventive measures.

Support patients and families in coping with illness, injury, and end-of-life care, providing emotional and psychological assistance.

- Patient Mobility and Assistance

. Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility as needed.

. Employ techniques to ensure patient safety, prevent falls, and promote independent living skills where possible.

- Communication and Documentation

. Maintain clear, accurate, and timely patient records, documenting observations, interventions, and outcomes.

. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, reporting changes in patient condition promptly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 per month
