Overview

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and well-being of children throughout the day.
• Conduct daily health checks and identify children showing signs of illness.
• Administer medication only with parental consent and a valid doctor's prescription.
• Provide first aid and emergency care to children, staff, and visitors when required.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all children and staff.
• Ensure the nursery clinic is clean, organized, and fully stocked with medical supplies.
• Monitor children's immunization and medical documentation.
• Implement and monitor infection prevention and control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA), MOH, and nursery health and safety policies.
• Report accidents, incidents, and communicable diseases in accordance with nursery procedures.
• Liaise with parents regarding children's health concerns and provide appropriate guidance.
• Coordinate with emergency medical services and healthcare providers when necessary.
• Conduct routine health screenings, including height and weight measurements where required.
• Support classroom staff during emergencies and assist in promoting children's overall well-being.
• Participate in fire drills, emergency evacuations, and health and safety inspections.
• Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and mandatory training.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric nursing and child development.
• Understanding of communicable disease prevention and infection control.
• Strong emergency assessment and first aid skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Effective communication with children, parents, staff, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position.
• Working hours as per nursery operational requirements.
• May be required to assist during school events, excursions, and emergency situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs UAE and Equivalency from MOHESR.
• Valid DHA Registered Nurse License.
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics, a school, or a nursery.
• **Salary:** AED 5,000 per month (maximum)
• Hiring for Dubai branches
• Pay: Up to AED5,000.00 per month
• Ability to commute/relocate:
• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
