Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based in Doha, Qatar.
The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions in accordance with established clinical standards.
Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, maintaining accurate documentation, and educating patients and families on care plans and health management.
The role involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, adhering to infection control and safety protocols, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
The Registered Nurse will also help maintain a supportive, culturally sensitive environment and uphold ethical and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license/registration that is valid or eligible for recognition in Qatar, with completion of an accredited nursing program (Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred).
- Demonstrated clinical nursing skills in patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and use of nursing equipment and technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, including clear documentation, patient and family education, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to follow infection control, safety, and quality standards, with attention to detail in monitoring, reporting, and responding to changes in patient status.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.
- Previous experience in hospital, clinic, or community nursing settings is highly beneficial; experience in Qatar or the Gulf region is an advantage.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required; advanced life support certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) are a plus.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed, and commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
