Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Assist dermatologists during treatments according to clinic protocols and guidelines.
• Assess patient needs and support appropriate treatments based on medical conditions and requirements.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments.
• Follow infection-control protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in the clinic's multidisciplinary patient-care team.
• Keep current with advancements and best practices in laser therapy.
• Prepare patients before treatments and provide post-procedure care and instructions.
• Prepare, handle, and sterilize medical equipment properly.
• Administer medications and injections according to doctors' instructions and clinic protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with DOH documentation standards.
• Educate patients about treatment plans, skincare routines, and aftercare.
• Support clinic operations and promote a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Valid DOH nursing license is mandatory.
• At least two years of experience as a dermatology nurse or dermatologist assistant is required.
• Strong knowledge and experience with dermatology treatments are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of patient care are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
