Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences, water treatment, or a related field.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in technical sales, business development, engineering, or a related commercial role.
- Experience with water treatment, wastewater treatment, environmental services, industrial processes, or related technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of water treatment technologies and their applications in mining or other industrial operations.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.
- Experience using CRM systems is required; knowledge of Salesforce is an asset.
- Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical, engineering, commercial, and operational teams.
- Approximately 60% travel is required for business purposes. Regional travel will include driving, with occasional air travel as needed.
- Must be available to attend conventions, conferences, trade shows, and industry events, including occasional weekend events.
- Must hold a valid full class driver’s licence.
- Must be comfortable working flexible schedule, including from home, client sites, Veolia offices, and industry events.
- This is a performance-driven role with expectations related to sales growth and business development results.
