Role overview
EDMP seeks an experienced sales manager to grow utility solutions business across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Employment is permanent and full-time; work mode is on-site in JAFZA, Dubai, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Drive EMEA business development and lead sales of smart electricity, water, and gas metering solutions.
- Promote GridLynk HES, MDMS, CIS, billing, STS prepayment, vending, asset management, mobile workforce, and utility software solutions.
- Build relationships with utilities, ministries, regulators, EPC contractors, consultants, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Manage public and private tenders from identifying opportunities through contract award; prepare proposals, negotiate, and close strategic projects.
- Identify markets, build customer partnerships, collaborate with company leadership and technical teams, and represent EDMP at industry events.
- Meet sales targets and contribute to long-term company growth.
What EDMP is looking for
- 7–12 years of successful B2B sales in smart metering, AMI, smart grid, utilities, renewable energy, power distribution, or utility software.
- Proven sales to utilities, government entities, or large infrastructure customers; understanding of metering technology and utility digitalization.
- Experience managing complex, high-value sales cycles and international tenders; strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to travel internationally across EMEA; relevant experience in Europe, the Americas, Australia and New Zealand, or Africa is preferred.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-growing international environment.
