Regional Project Manager Lead

Role Overview

Leadership and Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and guide the project management team.
• Own project quality, successful delivery, accountability, and project excellence.
• Support project managers with scoping, planning, training, and delivery issues.
• Manage onboarding, team development, performance conversations, and direct reports.

Workflow and Project Operations

• Govern project setup, execution, monitoring, control, documentation, and PM processes.
• Monitor project progress, burn rates, profitability, utilization, risks, and mitigation actions.
• Support process development and identify opportunities for AI and automation.
• Ensure timely delivery and escalate potential issues to the Account Director.

Resources and Finance

• Coordinate regional resource managers to assign briefs and maximize creative and project management utilization.
• Identify suitable skills for projects and provide input on freelancers and global project teams.
• Lead weekly WIP meetings and maintain accurate project and finance data.
• Approve purchase orders, cost estimates, credit notes, and supplier invoices within delegated thresholds.

Recruitment and Customer Contact

• Review CVs and interview project managers, traffic managers, and producers.
• Provide customer escalation support and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Guide best-practice briefing and client engagement.

Project Delivery

• Lead projects when required and ensure briefs, budgets, scopes, timing plans, and purchase orders are agreed.
• Manage scope, scope creep, project risks, and escalation of projects at risk.
• Ensure project teams and clients understand requirements and work toward successful delivery.
• Oversee final client presentations and confirm required quality checks are complete.

• Excellent client engagement, organization, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage workflow and prioritize workloads to maximize productivity.
• Knowledge of account management and invoicing.
• Creative ability to generate ideas and contribute to studio output.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Understanding of integration with client-side teams while maintaining agency service standards.

Good to Have

• Agency, communication, or production industry experience is advantageous.
• Basic understanding and genuine interest in artificial intelligence technologies is advantageous.
