Overview
This role will be responsible for the overall strategic delivery of Human Resources and administrative services, policies and programs and set up the HR Systems within the offices.
Responsibilities include helping to set up the strategic direction of HR initiatives in the Middle East, benefit administration, employee relations, performance evaluation, training and development, new employee orientation and onboarding and overseeing the direction of the immigration process for new hires.
All of the above has to be done in close coordination with our Business Unit Directors and Function Heads to ensure proper implementation of Company core values and to leverage existing policies, procedures and systems.
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
§ Promote the value of the HR role as a strategic partner to the business
§ Research and assess current ME HR practices and develop a plan for programs, policies and services to meet those needs in coordination with the Business Directors.
§ Coordinate the efforts of the Professional Development to schedule Lunch & Learn and other professional development activities as determined from the committee
§ Administer the performance review and career development process
§ Identify and deliver training programs needed for supervisors and employees
§ Develop social activities throughout the year to promote team building and social interactions with employees
§ Deliver employee orientation and on boarding
§ Write offer letters as needed and prepare certificates.
§ Develop job descriptions
§ Work closely with the HR generalist and PRO on immigration paperwork and IMS forms for the different offices.
§ Oversee workforce reductions related to terminations
§ Administer terminations and exit interviews
§ Counsel/resolve employee issues
§ Maintain and update employee files
§ Update employee handbook for the Middle East
§ Update the Living and Working in the Middle East
§ Update policies as and when needed.
§ Promote the Transpo Group culture throughout all the offices in the Middle East and demonstrate the company core values
§ Roll out surveys from time to time to gage employees opinion.
§ Ensure compliance with internal policies and local labor laws (UAE and KSA)
Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
